Many people overlook the fact that hard disks are extremely prone to failure, don’t backup their work, and lose many hours, days, or even years of work when their hard disk crashes. Many people are tempted to buy cheaper studio monitors, feeling comfortable with the claims the various manufacturers make about frequency response and flatness.
